Ralph Anderson (American football)
Ralph M. Anderson (October 29, 1936 – November 27, 1960) was an American college and professional football player. An offensive end, he played college football at Santa Monica College and Los Angeles State University, and played professionally in the American Football League for the Los Angeles Chargers in 1960. He died November 27, 1960, after sustaining a diabetic reaction immediately following the Chargers' 52-28 defeat of the Oakland Raiders at the Los Angeles Coliseum. His 44 receptions were good enough to lead the Chargers for the season. He played one game with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League in 1959.
